MUMBAI: The Pakistani man on trial in India over last years Mumbai attacks pleaded not guilty to all charges on Wednesday, including waging war against the country, AFP reported.
Judge M. L. Tahiliyani, who is presiding over his trial, read out all the charges against Mohammed Ajmal Kasab on Wednesday, AP reported.
Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, 21, denied 86 charges which were formally put to him at a special prison court in Mumbai that is hearing evidence about the November 26-29 attacks, when 166 people were killed and more than 300 injured.
Prosecutors say Kasab was one of 10 attackers responsible for killing 166 people and wounding 234 more during the three-day siege of Indias financial capital. Nine other suspects were killed during the attacks.
Kasab will face the death penalty if convicted
