Air-conditioned stage for PM

PM and ministers were sitting on an air-conditioned stage while people were sitting in heat.



Prime Minister Yusaf Raza Gilani and ministers enjoyed air-conditioned stage in a public gathering arranged by Pakistan People’s Party in Shakargarh while people were kept deprived of even pedestal fans on this occasion.


A five-ton air condition was installed near the stage for the PM and other VIP’s


The PM was assuring the people of the promises of electricity and other facilities which the government had made at the time of election.


But the reality seemed contrary to that as the attendants of the gathering were compelled to sit in heat and suffocation.


Some people were trying to dry their sweat with clothes while the others were trying to soothe themselves with artificial hand fans of scarfs or handkerchiefs.


Ignoring the people’s trouble, the Prime Minister, Punjab governor and the ministers including Firdous Ashiq Awan and Manzoor Watto along with other VIPs have been enjoying the air conditioned stage where they made fiery speeches.

We will see in the coming election if Pakistani People have learned the hard lessons since 1988-2013 by corrupt parties, musharraf regime is no exception, they got due credit where it should get but largely all parties failed miserably.

just wow, honestly i have no words to express my feelings.

The above pictures are from his visit to the less developed areas of the UAE few years back accompanied by the ministers.

As the visit was on a Friday, when it was time for the prayer he and the ministers prayed in a local small mosque. After the prayer the Ruler met with the people coming outside the mosque and one very ordinary comparatively poor local citizen invited him and the ministers for lunch. He (the Ruler) agreed and all the minsters and the Ruler went to the old man's old house for lunch.

No special arrangements were made no special dishes were made as it was a surprise visit, it was like as if he is one of the member of the house being served what was cooked by the family in the house for a normal Friday afternoon. He said jokingly to the ministers don't eat everything leave something for the family in the house also.

well we as a nation are too lazy to bring change we will sit in our drawing rooms and complain in our AC rooms! BUT we will never go out and bring change like tunisia or egypt!

sadly the poor are to busy in trying to earn bread to even care who there leader is or how he is sitting! they just put there head down and try to earn or steal to survive day to day!
