ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General, Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday hinted that their government would work on different path as followed by the preceding government with a relatively smaller cabinet.

“It will help the new government to minimise precious national wealth besides help masses in efficient manner,” Ahsan Iqbal told APP.

The senior PML-N leader said that a meeting of the parliamentary party would convene on May 20 in Lahore, under the chair of party chief Nawaz Sharif, which would discuss formation of the government in the center and in the provinces.

Iqbal said that PML-N has gained a simple majority in the center, and a thumping majority in Punjab. Additionally, the PML-N is also set to form a coalition government in Balochistan with the help of other political parties.

“First 100-day plan of action, including energy crisis, law and order situation and other challenges being faced by the country, would also be discussed in the meeting,” Iqbal added.
