There are many parts of Eisenhower Interstate System (in US) that you can land a Jet or Cargo plane. That had been in defense doctrine of many developed countries. These jokers are doing it now, makes me feel sad. At least they are doing it now. But those ******** tolls on these roads... come on. where is the tax money going ?

Regardless of country, you have to pay tolls to use certain infrastructure. Go to Thailand for example, you'd have to pay tolls to use the elevated expressways. Somebody has to pay for the maintenance, especially if you use it

Buddy these roads are made with private investment and companies who invested their money in these road projects need to get it back with certain profits. Otherwise, why would a Private company invest their money in infrastructure project.

Look for coming five yrs plan of 2012-2017 there would be $1 Trillion investment in infrastructure sector and companies are showing interest because they can make profit out of it plus government won't have much burden.
