Agha Siraj Durrani advises government to export stray dogs instead of killing them

Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani has advised provincial and municipal authorities in Karachi to export stray dogs in the city to the Philippines instead of shooting them dead on the streets.

During a session of Sindh Assembly, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman had called the attention of the house to the increasing number of stray dogs in the provincial capital.

“The number of stray dogs in the city has increased dramatically. Jinnah Hospital treats 90 patients who have been bitten by stray dogs every day,” the PTI leader told members of the assembly.

Responding to Zaman, Minster for Local Bodies Jam Khan Shoro said that the local government will work to eliminate the problem from the metropolis.

Durrani then advised the minister to export the animals overseas instead of killing them.

At first idea looks disgusting but its applicable. Problems solve easily where the money is involved rather than social responsibility and public welfare. If we can raise black scorpions and snakes for money then why can't we get rid of stray dogs by exporting them.

Dogs are to be neutered and then adopted.
If not adopted then they must be provided a shelter.

In China they eat cats and dogs and it's horrible horrible.
As a pet father this is despecable.
Agha suraj durrani has us pakistanis to loot. Isn't he doing enough corruption that he wants extra commission form dog meat.
Goat, cow and chicken are animals bred for food but dogs and cats are pets. They are clever, can understand and feel things and love humans.
It is our fault that they are stray in cities. They don't originate own their own. Someone at some point buy pets for fun and later throw them away and so they breed and spread as food in cities is enough.
This is ridiculous, we need laws that all animals that are sold must he neutered.
Put huge ban on breeding animals. Only select few licensed persons can breed. And built a shelter where stray cats and dogs can rome free. Provide food too in shelter and if anybody wants to adopt them they can.
Many people now are adopting stray cats and dogs.
In Islam misbehaving with cats and dogs is highly punishable. Cats are cherished by our Prophet Muhammad S. A. W. He loved cats. He adored them. There are even several hadees pertaining to cats.
Despite being misconception about dogs they can be kept for security and guarding, hunting .
Please don't even give our people this idea. They can do anything.
Trust me if they get good price for human meat, they would start selling human meat.

Dogs are unclean mean thay you have to do wazu again if you touch them. Else they are totally OK. You can keep them outside your home and don't bring them inside. You can keep dogs for guarding , hunting and keep work dogs for farms. If you know about their loyalty then they are 1000 times loyal the humans and tad useful.
According to a hidth , a pious women who killed a cat was send to hell. And a women who just give some water to thirsty stray dog from well is granted Jannah for a simple act of compassion.
If even a dog die on my watch, I am responsible. Hazarat umer r.a said.
It literally means that they even cared for the stray animals in their time.
Cats are simply Cherised.
Abu hurira was given the title hurira because he is called father of cats and he has so many cats.

Scholars are of the view that you dont become unclean by only touching a dog or cat. Because u are only touching their skin and hair. Which we touch our own as well. One becomes cleans and has to do tahara when a dog licks or his spit is touches your body.

A cat came and ate some of it, but when Aisha finished her prayer, she ate from the place where the cat had eaten. She stated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“It is not unclean: it is one of those who go round among you”. She added: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution from the water left over by the cat”.” (Abu Dawood)
This issue of saliva is only for dogs.
Cats are loved by our Prophet Muhammad saw . Even animals have rights in Islam...

Dog meat is haraam but you just can't kill a dog.it is not justified.there must be a rule that if someone kill any animal specially dogs and cats,they must be thrown in front of tiger.tiger deserves human meat as well.this is why I hate Pakistani system.this system can never be changed.we must eliminate those people who demands killings of dogs.
