After Uyghur ‘terrorist’, India cancels visas for Tiananmen, HK activists

India has withdrawn visas granted to two well-known Chinese dissidents, Lu Jinghua and Ray Wong, who were set to attend a China-focussed conference on democracy at Dharamsala.

The withdrawals occurred days after New Delhi cancelled the visagranted to Germany-based Uyghur activist Dolkun Isa, who too was set to attend the same conference that will be addressed by the Dalai Lama.

China has branded Isa a terrorist and Interpol has issued a red corner notice for him.
Lu Jinghua, who is best-known for her role in the 1989 Tiananmen square protests and figures on a Chinese list of “major criminals”, learnt of the withdrawal of her visa just as she was about to board a New Delhi-bound flight from New York on April 25.

Ray Wong Toi-yeung was a key figure in the localist group accused of starting the Mong Kok riot over the Chinese New year in Hong Kong.

Indians may try to blackmail China in near future to force/induce China to side with India on matters related to Pakistan, like for example if India again raises the issue of Azhar or any matter related to Pakistan in UN or with China directly but still, china refuses to cooperate with India on that and doing veto then indians will say, oh look, we indians have withdrawal the visas given to anti China people in the past for sake of better relations with you and now you are not reciprocating, this is not good for China etc etc. blah blah....

We have zero tolerance for terrorists. Be it Chinese, Pakistani or Indian. They should be nipped in bud. Even though China did not side with India, India did what was expected of it- be consistent. This will definitely make China introspect its actions.
