better stay away from the topic ,have you heard about Rameshwaram , Vedaranyam , Kanniyakumari? those places are in India. I am not surprised about your comment you expressing northern India people perspective. 456 tamilans killed by SL navy no case filed yet nobody bothering but if terrorist killed more than 100 people in Mumbai means India deploying its troops near its borders, so our's life is cheap??? great....

look mate, i fully acknowledge your sentiments, i know there are many differences in our country (north-south or east-west or any other) & no doubt in an ideal world India should take up the issue of tamils against the SL govt., but than we are not in an ideal world, we are in the world in which China is our Cut-throat competitor & Pakistan is our old enemy. Indian govt. can at a limit take the issue of tamils with the Sri Lankans since any deterioration in ties means open invitation to our enemies to fill that space. If China gets a foothold in Sri Lanka & can convince them in the future for a base there, it will be threatening to the security of not just Tamil Nadu but for entire India, in that respect what u propose India should do???
