Sadly you missed the actual reason why he was killed in your reply.
He was an arbaki and served in ALP long before he bacame a part time so so comedian.

So "ALP" means Afghan Local Police and "Arbaki" means :

The Taliban took responsibility this week for the comic’s killing, shooting him multiple times. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid acknowledged that the two men were Taliban and would be arrested and tried. The comic was allegedly also a member of the Afghan National Police and had been implicated in the torture and killing of Taliban. The brutal killing has once again raised the specter of revenge killings in Afghanistan.

I doubt that the trial of the two Talibanis will happen.

Man you are mixing too much. Taliban reign was barbaric or not, it was stemming from their culture/custom. They validated their culture value by claiming these, belonging to Islam. Like stopping girls from going to school. It is totally cultural thing.

Taliban govt was blessing for Pak in a sense that drug production hit zero along with any terrorism sanctuaries. Also, they brought peace by hook or crook.

Pakistani also want islam and sharia. But listen to IK, he says the biggest way to implement is to bring justice in a society (riyasat e madina). He is not talking about just punishments which is a small aspect of any legal system.

The shariah law is basically a criminal law and this is that needs to be imposed by Muslim. While Taiban has come to something that is not even regulated in Quran and Hadith like imposing Hijab and even Burqa to their female while Quran stated this one :

I don't know your intention but the Taliban does not understand Islamic law. For example, the Taliban some days ago declared something like Afghans to give away their daughters in marriage to Taliban people but in Islam a woman marry only out of her own will. Not the father, not the grandmother can force her to. You must have seen Indian films and serials with a scene from a Muslim wedding where the qazi asks the bride "Qubool hai ?".
