Afghans demand foreign troops leave immediately

This is a week old article, but quite a pertinent one in my opinion:

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- Afghans gathered on the streets of Kabul on Thursday to protest and demand foreign troops to withdraw immediately from the Asian country. The protests came a day before the U.S.-led military operation reaches its 10th year.

Protesters attending the demonstration chanted slogans against the United States, but also against Iran, Pakistan, the Taliban and the Karzai government, the Pajhwok Afghan News agency reported. There were no significant incidents, but the protest ended with the burning of a U.S. flag while protesters called the Afghan government a U.S. puppet.

The protests were led by the relatively small left-wing National Solidarity Party, which has around 30,000 members but a high following in different parts of the country, including Kabul, Farah, Kunar, and Nangarhar, among other provinces.

Demonstrators claimed insecurity, violence and corruption had all risen during the past ten years despite the presence of foreign troops in the country. Some of those protesting went on to allege that the Taliban is being supported by the United States.

Angry protesters called on all international forces to withdraw immediately from the country, arguing that the strategic agreement signing, which would allow permanent U.S. bases in Afghanistan, would dishonor its history.

There are currently more than 130,000 NATO-led foreign troops in Afghanistan, including some 90,000 U.S. troops and more than 9,500 British soldiers. U.S. President Barack Obama previously ordered a drawdown of 10,000 American troops later this year, with another 23,000 U.S. troops to return home next year.

Friday marks the tenth anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan.

This is the pertinent part, as a political party they had the freedom to protest against whoever they want. They shouted slogans against Pakistan and Taliban too. Every single imperialist Pakistani who claims Taliban are popular, this should be a slap in the face.

Sure Afghans want foreign troops to leave, which people do not want that, but for that to happen Taliban and their supporters must be destroyed, otherwise Taliban will murder all these left wing members, all 30,000 of them and will never allow a political protest, not one that allows slogans against the state and pakistan.

Power to Afghan Army - so that foreign troops can leave but without Talibani proxies coming to power.

Actually, the two words here do not change the rest of the article. The interesting thing is, Pakistan is not accused here of supporting the Taliban, but the US is. The US Forces are highly unpopular, they are accused of committing huge human rights violations, killing innocent people. The US is accused by the Afghans of using the divide & rule doctrine to cause rifts between Afghans, Pakistanis, Iranians, & the region as a whole. Karzai always criticizes the US for killing the innocent Afghan women & children, but never the Taliban. Because the Taliban are his own Afghan people. He even threatened the US that he would join the Taliban:

The Taliban also has a permanent presence in 80% of Afghanistan:

They blame everyone (even Iran) but themselves. They refuse to take responsibility for their own actions, or take matters in their own hands. That is why they get screwed right, left & center. If India shared a border with Afghanistan, they'd blame India too. India is a non-factor in Afghanistan.

So basically they have a problem with everyone currently involved in Afghanistan. I could've guessed about their problems with Pakistan. Iran sort of comes as a surprise.

Its just one party, a small one too. Only picking up selective facts and some pictures and some lies and then making up the rest of the belief system and then repeating it daily with full confidence is a zaid hamidi tactic. We know where fans of such ''analyses'' are.

Anyone would want foreign troops out, does not mean there's support for foreign proxies taliban. The protest could be held because of the foreign troops and karzai's regime. Under talibani proxy rule, that would be impossible, even the protesters know that. Hence they made clear they condemn taliban and pakistan too, just in case people did not try to deliberately misconstrue facts.

It's all about perspective isn't it. Frankly I doubt any party will be popular in Afghanistan for the next decade. And this stand is simply to try and gain supporters. Whenever they do come up with significant support to replace the Karzai government, they will end up siding with at least one of the sides they are now condemning.
Of course I'm assuming all this thinking they have a plan.Maybe, they are just frustrated and are venting it out on everyone they can see .
