Afghan, Indian intelligence, support TTP in Pakistan - Helge Lurås head of the SISA Norway

.
I have not blamed India for Peshawar. As a matter of fact the official and unofficial response from India and Indians has been good.

68.793%, give or take 0.03 percent error.

There could be ISI Vs RAW, but Not schools! It is a separate war.

. .
I don't know if Afghans or Indians are behind this massacre. But the foot soldiers who did this were Pakistanis and they (TTP) claimed it. By blaming Indians, you are just giving space to the like of that ladyboy from Lal Masjid who supported this act. Let's not loose focus here; these animals do not need India to wreck havoc in Pakistan. Lets first eliminate them from our country and then talk about foreigners.

An insurgency like the TTP, given its scale and sophistication, directed against the state, needs external support. Who else should we suspect of providing such support except India?

We should talk about all the likely causes of this situation, right now, internal and foreign. This will help to counter the stupid propaganda that says "The TTP is the Pakistan Army's own creation, and they are being repaid for what they did." and which then tries to malign and demoralize the Pakistan Army using this propaganda.

To counter the propaganda against the Pakistan Army, please repeat frequently:
The prime suspects for the role of backing the TTP are the Indian intelligence services in Afghanistan.

So, there is no proof, and your therefore pulling this out of somewhere..... this is a BULLSHIT thread

No, of course no proof, against either NDS or Indian involvement, nothing worth mentioning nothing that would hold up in a court of law. I trust my judgement, what I've seen and what I've heard.

If you wan't PDF members to come up with dossiers, that's too much to ask. I've long said that the Karzai government needs to have it's behind kicked for supporting and appeasing the TTP. Didn't have even a shred of anything to share until, lo and behold; come only a year ago, nyt reported Afghan intel was caught red handed by US security forces transporting key TTP leaders and providing them aid and travel documents.

US catches Afghan govt ‘red handed’ in plotting with Pakistani Taliban: Report – The Express Tribune

Now with India, far more competent intel network, far more funds, far detached from the US and NATO in Afghanistan, working free and without oversight, opportunity rife. Hell, if I wanted to, a single man like me with some contacts could cause havoc at the right price, let alone a vast network of people and funds.

I can tell you that I am very very certain that the Balochistan situation currently has and historically has had Indian involvement and I also believe some degree of involvement in TTP or under the banner of TTP, attacks on PNS Mehran and Kamra, these were certainly a lot bigger than your average suicide bombing or attack on a check post.

Also with the Karzai government's clear anti-Pak stance and actual support for those to seek to do us harm and your rather fishy and seemingly obvious relations with them are a cause for concern. It would be simply naive and stupid for us not to thing that India's work and goals in Afghanistan aren't Pakistan centric.

There could be ISI Vs RAW, but Not schools! It is a separate war.

Like I said, I can't comment on the exact involvement, and the Peshawar incident I'm not blaming on anyone but those who openly claimed responsibility, the TTP.

Dude, Afghanistan got radicalized and you country got screwed. If your country got radicalized we will get screwed. Hell, even with current levels of radicalization we had events like Mumbai, then ask yourself, why would we aid an organization that wants to impose sharia in our neighborhood, especially when they would expressly conside any action against us justified as going against 'Kafirs'? Common sense. Indian agencies take long term views on things and have extreme distrust of Islamic religious groups. Karzai hates Pak don't mean we'll put the next 100 years in a problematic zone because of it.

- The terrorists behind school shootings supported from Kabul

The terrorists who massacred 132 schoolchildren and 12 teachers in Pakistan, supported by our allies in Kabul, according to experts.

- Afghan intelligence, in cooperation with Indian intelligence, supports Taliban groups in Pakistan, says Helge Lurås, head of the Centre for International and Strategic Analysis (SISA).

- Many will not believe that our allies can do this, but this is not conspiracy theories, he says to NTB.

Lurås stressed that the Pakistani Taliban, known as Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), not to be confused with the Taliban in Afghanistan.

- Pakistani Taliban regime in Islamabad as the main enemy, while Afghan Taliban in all the years has been supported by the Pakistani intelligence service (ISI), said Lurås.

- In Kabul spoken about the "good Taliban" and "bad Taliban," he says.

Professor Thomas Johnson at the Naval Postgraduate School in California agrees and emphasizes that the two rebel groups have widely differing objectives.

- Although they were originally allies, they have gone their separate ways, he says to CNN.

In the same way as S-section of ISI stands for support for the Taliban, supported Tehreek-e-Taliban from their own section of the Afghan intelligence service (NDS). They financed paradoxically largely by the United States.

- Afghans have enough tried to keep this business hidden for Americans, but it is clear that some have known about this, says Lurås.

- But we in the West are naive to thousands and easily deceived, and that applies Americans too, he adds.

In October last year got outside world a glimpse of their collaboration, when the Pakistani Taliban leader Mehsud Latif was captured by US forces east in Afghanistan.

Mehsud was accompanied by Afghan security personnel and on the way to a meeting with NDS, and then President Hamid Karzai was furious over his arrest.

Karzai spokesman Aimal Faizi admitted that Afghan intelligence longer had cooperated with Mehsud.

- He is part of an NDS operation, in the same way as other intelligence agencies have similar operations, said Faizi.

Indian intelligence

Afghanistan's newly elected president Ashraf Ghani has made it clear that he wants to improve relations with Pakistan, which he partly selected by visiting Islamabad last month. Nothing indicates that he still has stopped support for Tehreek-e-Taliban.

- This is a regional game, stating Lurås.

Although Afghan intelligence stops support for the Taliban in neighboring, it by no means certain that India will do it, he says.

- India is heavily involved in Afghanistan and has also created a number of consulates east of the country. These consulates are staffed by intelligence personnel, who are in close contact with Pakistani Taliban Lurås.

Except he doesn't say that and he also says this - "He says Army Public School in Peshawar is one of the many schools in Pakistan which is only open to children of military."

I wonder why talibastards are so keen in imposing their shariah on our country while ignoring india completely. And is their no kafirs in india, why they are targeting our country alone. I am not saying they should carry out their attack on india but rather im emphasizing on the fact that the india is in their good books thats why they always point out their guns at us.

Except for the fact that 'talibastards' don't share a border with India unlike Pakistan, except for the fact that we r manning entire Indo-Pak border unlike Pak-Afgh, except for the fact tht they have no support/sympathizers whatsoever on this side unlike urs, except that ur statement makes for effing sense bcz those people don't have a safe heaven to return to when they'll face crackdown by IA unlike against PA in which case they can run back to hide in FATA, KP or Afg.

An insurgency like the TTP, given its scale and sophistication, directed against the state, needs external support. Who else should we suspect of providing such support except India?

why should it get external support? Their enemy (PA) is not as well equipped or organized as you think.

Under Raheel Shareef, wherever the culprits are, they will be "fixed" and I have no doubt that some of the bullet receivers will be chanters of "wand-e-matram".

India is behind that we have been saying this all the time since Mushy era.

It is like you keep treating the patient based on a wrong diagnosis and then wonder why the patient hasn't been cured yet!

That is exactly what is happening with you -- looking at the wrong place for the root cause of your problem.

I am not sure if you are being sarcastic with this last sentence in bold, hard to tell on PDF.

Anyways, sorry I think you missed my point. I meant that OK whoever is responsible for funding/training these guys, fine punish them whenever. But bigger threat is their sympathizers INSIDE our cities. Their vocal supporters in mosques and madressahs are more dangerous than KHAD/RAW/CIA whoever is providing the external support.

Look at that molvi in Lal Masjid, and see what he has to say about these attacks and then find me one religious party which has condemned these animals by name, protested against them and demanded action against them. I hope you'll see my point.
