Afghan Elections done , next up the BSA

OK so now that the topi drama of afghan elections is done, next up is the more critical decision of singing the BSA with United State.

Karzai stood his ground in some ways on this issue.

The signing or no signing of the BSA is the next critical and perhaps the defining moment for the next decade to come. It’s the BSA and not the elections that will define Afghanistan future in the short term ( by short term meaning 10 years or less )

Nicely said Afghan elections were nothing more than a drama.
It's done with and the BSA will be signed as soon as the next man gets into the presidential palace.
Both Dr Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani are supported by the USA and both of them have already indicated that they are going to sign the BSA.
Karzai wanted to get Zalmai Rassoul in and (he may have delayed signing that deal and might have got better conditions for Afghanistan), but he couldn't stand in front of American manipulations and is most probably heading for an outright defeat.
