I cant help it if the only version of true Islam you think is true is the extreme Taliban version. In India, I have full freedom to call myself a Muslim regardless of whether i practice or not or pick and choose what parts of Islam i want to believe in and what parts of Islam i choose to reject.

A muslim is always a human first. Learn to understand Islam objectively rather than literally. How does me being a practising or non-practising Muslim concern you ?
Me and 180 million other Muslims from my country have full rights to practice Islam in whatever ways they wish to without infringing upon the rights of others. I come from a respectable Muslim family and you are no-one to question my faith.

There are two factors to consider before judging Afghanistan. One is the Kabul influences areas with education and the other is without. The ones under Kabul's influence would marry their daughters off as tributes to India and I mean this regardless of how insulting it feels due to the amount of goodwill they have for India; but this is not misplaced as India too is going out of their way to get into Afghanistan.

The other side is the uneducated areas, the more Pashtun influenced and so on, there it is a state of mistrust of non-muslims(Indians, Americans , Chinese everyone) and Pakistanis too.
