Below is the speech made by Afaq Ahmed during Musharaf rule. I must say this guy is quite knowledgeable and more importantly the first few mins of his speech he said something very important.
That while he is fighting for rights of his community but at this juncture when Pakistan is faced with so many problems he prefers to put them on the back burner as national issues are of priority. This is the first time I have heard him speak and someone who is so mature in his thinking should not rot behind jail and should be allowed to participate in politics
I for one .. won't mind voting for him in next elections ...as this guy really seems to represent people of Pakistan ..
