Aesthetics

. . . . . .
What is aesthetic without any eye ? I will agree that aesthetics and beauty exists when a blind person explain to me what is beauty.
A blind person would prefer to hear a well composed melody rather than traffic noise. He would prefer smelling a rose compared to the smell of garbage...etc.

Aesthetics and beauty exist and though it is often boiled down to just the sense of sight...and in this case on this thread it's reduced to the beauty of females by our resident tharkis on this forum. However aesthetics and beauty span more than one sense and more than just girls. Large masses will generally agree about what landscapes they find beautiful in nature, what scents they find pleasing, what music they find pleasing etc. This general consensus means that at least there are some basic principles in human perception when it comes to "aesthetics and beauty" on which we all agree...even if subconsciously. In addition to principles that are common...there must be other variables that are unique to each person, which gives rise to our differences in taste. While the masses may agree that Mozart's music is more pleasing than the sound of a Hyena...they all likely still have different taste in music and prefer different genres, artists, songs.

Beauty, if separated from aesthetics, can be Applied to all senses. But when it comes to the word Aesthetics, everyone will take it as an how good things look. And thats right for all except those who always try to proof their intellect by saying “agree to disagree or everyone is entitled to their own opinion”. (Not pointing at you, chill, speaking generally).

The seocnd para of your post, yes i agree

P.s : You are not a blind person.
