The best thing about going on a tour across Pakistan is that you get to explore amazing places, have thrilling adventures and shape memories that’ll last for a lifetime, all on an affordable budget.

Comparatively, Pakistan may not be the largest nation in the world. But yet its geographical and cultural diversity makes it so rich that you find yourself in a puzzle when trying to restrict your ‘must-see’ list to only the highlights.

To accommodate your needs, we’ve narrowed down the most thrilling sports and activities that take place in Pakistan that you absolutely must explore!

A unique way to explore them is on a horse safari. That’s right! Ride across the gorgeous Deosai plains on a horse. You can also go horse riding in the Shigar Valley, Kaghan Valley or the Shandur Pass.

  1. Rock Climbing
We’ve all seen those documentaries on Nat Geo of heroic people fearlessly climbing mountains and enjoying the victorious view from atop – Ever wonder what that would feel like? If you live in Pakistan, then you have the perfect opportunity to find out. Don’t be afraid to unleash your inner adventurist and test your boundaries.

The Karakoram range has numerous mountains suited for both beginner mountaineers along with experienced ones. In Pakistan, you are permitted to climb any peak that is less than 6,500m without seeking permission.

Although scary at first, rock climbing will be an incredible experience to try out. Just be sure to take things slow if you’re a beginner and follow all safety precautions.

  1. Skiing in Swat Valley
Despite the brutally hot weather the country faces all year round, you can go skiing in Pakistan! That’s just how diverse the climate of this country is; where on one end we have arid deserts and on the other, snow covered peaks!

Like I said, Pakistan has everything! If you’ve already explored the Northern side of the country then head over to the outskirts of Karachi. Churna Island has all types of facilities for different water sports. You can go snorkelling, scuba diving and cliff diving in the deep blue water of the Arabian Sea. It’s an amazingly unique experience!
