Today at the Senate Armed Services Hearing for US Navy Shipbuilding Programs, Adm Kilby confirmed to Sen. King that US carrier groups have classified capabilities to defeat hypersonic boost glide missiles.

To guard against certain EW attacks against Chinese electronics, China must R&D this:

This technology will defend against most attacks to HGVs. You would then need S-600 level technology to take out the incoming HGV. Or an airblast tactical nuke.
