Addition of banner in forum pages-SBP link for dam donation

Dear admin team,

There are like 2-3 places for placement of ad banners on every forum page of this website.

It is suggested that one of the banner location may be allocated going forward that gives a direct link to SBP page for donation as SBP is now accepting donations via Credit cards e.t.c

Although dams can't be fully built via donations but doing the aforementioned activity by def.pk team will help in raising much needed awareness.

How much money is in the dam fund already? I would like the GoP to be very open and transparent about what's coming in and going (And where/ for what).

Convince 1 million Pakistanis to donate $10k each and you have $10 billion to build a major dam. Believe me, there are many of us able and willing to donate such an amount if we genuinely believe it will be used for something good.

Even offer incentives to those that donate larger sums and you will have a lot more money. Not sure what incentives could be offered though.

SBP is being transparent. You can see the date wise list for donations done.

I donated twice so far and saw my name in the list.

I am planning to donate what I can on monthly basis.

It's a project spanning several years and donations will comprise only a certain percentage of the funds. The rest will be funded by debt/ govt. support.

Funds can also be arranged if Pakistan floats tax free FC denominated bonds for overseas Pakistanis.

Major projects like these are funded by bonds.

However, funds on any way are welcome and I hope that pdf and it's members spread the word.

Hello Zulfiqar, how do you access the list you mentioned? Also are you donating from inside Pakistan or overseas? Can people living abroad donate thru the debit card method? I was trying to do thru Nostro account so my pound sterlings can be converted to usd as i alhumdullilah do have means to send $1K. As you rightly mentioned we’d need to keep contributing until possible as target is very big and one donation per person wont be sufficient.
