explosion in the battery bay.

Dec 4-Ins konkan catches fire at the naval dockyard at vishakhapatnam.

Dec 23-Ins talwar crashs into a trawler off the coast of ratnagiri.

Jan 4-Ins betwa runs aground near Mumbai.

Jan 7-Ins vikramaditya reaches India after major problems in boiler.

Jan 17-Ins sindhughosh hits the sea bed.

Jan 31-Ins airawat damages after it is agrounded.

Feb 26-smoke is detected in ins sindhuratna 2 officers go missing.

Mar 1-Ins kalinga, a short circuit led to the fire at around 1 pm which resulted in injury to three civilians.

What's wrong with Indian Navy. It's probably about safety standards. Smoke and aground are human caused problems. That should not be tolerated. A sailor's life isn't that cheap.

IMO,sabotage is now the most likely possibility. This level of mishaps and accidents isn't normal.

We are inducting too many ships,We badly need more bases,They have been delayed because of beaurecracy.

Accidents happen in every navy unlike some navies who dont have ships to for accidents to begin with.

Nothing to do with sabotage,IN is too much overloaded since we are inducting too many ships,these problems will be solved when our new bases will be ready.

What are you exactly suggesting?

On any real world situation,sometimes sh ! happens but this recent spike is truly abnormal,ie not within the bounds of happenstance. Therefore its time to examine the likeliest scenarios,which IMO is sabotage.

the list simply prove that our media is fair about defence accidents,nothing more..if anybody simply go through the list of USN accidents around one year,they could find similar kind of list,even better.every Navy faces this kind of problems and accidents.some choose to not declare openly,some do.

both accidents due to same reason,siltine.now,dredging is being carried out around Mumbai harbour.and Sindhughosh just caught in low tide,but it didn't touch the sea bed.

India has,technically just begun to manufacture mordern naval ships and equipment and has just learned to handle them so it is logical to assume such mistakes/accidents happening,it has happened with every nation which started to manufacture from scratch.With time we will rectify and make perfect our ways,ships and equipment.
