Abuses in Kashmir: OIC slams India

JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed serious concern over human rights violations in the Indian-administered Kashmir by the Indian military and para-military forces, which have resulted in the killing of more than 30 innocent Kashmiris.
The OIC’s Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission said the use of excessive force against innocent civilians, protesting peacefully over extrajudicial killings, is deplorable and a blatant violation of the right to life, right to freedom of expression and opinion, right to peaceful protest and assembly and other fundamental human rights.
It said that extrajudicial killings and abrasive human rights violations should stop forthwith.
“There should not be any impunity for human rights violations. An independent, fair and transparent inquiry should be conducted against the individuals responsible for these killings and culprits must be held accountable at all levels.”

security forces ; they are independent in their functioning


The CM and other ministers have already requested the youth NOT to attack the forces

The injured will receive free treatment and also CASH compensation from the Indian government

You dont know the ground reality of Kashmir .
Hurriyat ,PDP and their leaders are the one that cashing on this events .Neither Army nor Kashmiris .
They are eagerly looking for the next package after this
Noone from the leadership's family indulged in this activities .They are safe and secure in west and other parts of India with a lots of bank balance .
We are sorry for this state of affairs .But if any one takes arms against the state they will bit the dust .

I salute those Indians who show no resentment for atrocities their military is doing in Kashmir. These are the people who claim Kashmir belongs to India but are def, dumb and blind from crimes against their "claimed Indian Kashmiris" through the hands of their own military forces. These people are infect a valuable aid and make Kashmiris demand freedom even more. We should respect them and encourage them to keep doing what they are doing.

You pelt stones at armed security forces, you violate curfew and indulge in violent acts, you are a fair game for the security forces to kill. Its the same all over the world. Kashmir is no different. Collateral damage of a low intensity warfare is always regrettable but unavoidable. Ask the millions of IDPs in Pakistan and hundreds that got killed in aerial bombardments by PAF and got labeled as terrorist kill counts.
