That F-16 shot down by Indian Airforce rhetoric is to salvage some lost pride in India and IAF in particular, they need some fake chest thumping, some bragging as how come a nation of 1.4 billion people got beaten up so badly by a supposedly small Pakistan...and these are election times in India...everything just backfired.

Abhinandan is a brave soldier of India who was doing his duty to the motherland.
Soldiers get captured, they get wounded and also get killed.
