Abducted son of PPP leader recovered in Bajaur
BAJAUR – Ten-year-old son of Pakistan People’s Party leader Akhunzada Chittan – was recovered on Tuesday – a day after he was abducted by unidentified gunmen in Bajaur Agency near Afghan border.
According to political administration 10-year-old Syed Hussain Shah was kidnapped when he was leaving for school in Bajaur area of Pakistan’s tribal belt. Hussain Shah was recovered after security forces launched a search operation with strict snap checking shortly after he was whisked away by the unidentified kidnappers.
Akhunzada’s son was recovered from Khar area, the district headquarters of the tribal agency. Chittan – who is a senior PPP leader and adviser to former president Asif Ali Zardari, told security officials on Monday that his 10-year-old son was kidnapped by unidentified persons outside his residence in Amankot village of tehsil Khar. According to him, the kidnappers forcibly tossed the boy into the vehicle and managed to flee the scene.
