Unfortunately my friend a Pakistani cannot purchase it as of now but maybe after an year when the home demand is minimised then their are chances for export version .
However if you have Micromax storeroom in Pakistan you can buy a funbook a tablet for a little more than Rs.5000

actually it is freely available from ubislate website, but there is a waiting period. you can give payment via credit card. the market price for their top model is INR 4800 which is higher than the price at which students can get it through govt of india.

but the company may not have any service network in pakistan. nowadays there are many other companies who are supplying such products at similar prices, so pakistanis may be better off choosing a company with a proper service network there.

The reason for Aakash tablet was a very/ultra low cost tablet for the masses and particularly for students across India - To leapfrog them to the tablet and smartphone world as an aid in education.

Akash is low cost low performance and core components came from China.
You can buy better Chinese android 4.0 tablets in 7k-8k from hafeez center or order online.
