A Student Of Fata telling truth

I was watching a documentry "restrepo" about american war in afghanistan in a valley of kunar. It is a story of the army post by name of restrepo on top of mountain. Every day they faces intense firing from invisible taliban. One day they hear the news that about 12 american troops are killed by taliban some where else. They decides to take revenge from taliban by attacking nearest "hideout" of taliban. They reach near that village on ground while apache helicopters fire misiles on that hideout of taliban. When soldiers reach to that destroyed house they are disappointed to see that instead of taliban they have killed 10 women, kids and old men. There are also badly injured kids and even infants. This was "collateral damage" very light word, very easy to read but difficult to watch. Interestingly no one is shown crying at the dead, the family members and villagers are watching the soldiers silently with serious faces.
When these american soldiers are returning back, they are nervous that taliban in the mountains might have already heard about their presence. They pick up the radio chat of taliban, who have heard about death of women and childern and are planning to ambush american soldiers from all sides. They called helicopter for rescue but within short time they are ambushed by taliban from all side, 1 soldier dies. American soldiers are shown crying and panicking, when apache arrives, the invisible enemy has already retreated.
Similar situation is in FATA though with much more blood shed. Collateral damage is many times more, so is the heavy casualties of pakistani faujis.

Well he also told me one disputable thing that TTP spoks person Shahid Ullah Shahid was also a student who couldn't complete his matriculation and subsequently hired by TTP. I would not bring such things up because i can't endorse authenticity of such claims but since you brought up the point so as these things are different thats why i am sharing this disputable information. You deny people choices, they take choices what are available. Most of the students of FATA have to come to Peshawar of Islamabad for even college education. If you grab their oppertunities, they ll take whatever are available to them i.e. joining local malitia and talibans.

1) Do you know army has done more development than any other govt in the last 7 decades.. Built schools,colleges,cadet cols,roads,basic health units,bridges etc?giving scholarship to thousands of kids from FATA .. Free boarding,education,messing and even pocket money? You will find a boarding school in almost ever cantonment in biggr cities.. Even in a city like Gujranwala..

2)Do you join terrorists if you Dnt have an opportunity ?


3)Do you know how fucking old tht bastard shahid ullage is? Lmao .. Did army screw his school in the 80s or something aswell??

You are son of a fauji yet you are ignorant of such a well known fact. Not just schools, army is also using other governament buildings as camps including hospitals. It is a propaganda that taliban destroyed schools in swat and other areas because their motive was to stop girls education. The fact is they also destroyed boys schools, the aim was to make it useless for army in the ongoing war with them from 2007 to 2009. Military also destroyed schools in the operation. It would be difficult for you to go to tribal areas but i am sure you can pass through kohat tunnel which is controlled by army...just watch from windows of your car and you would notice that in a governament school before kohat tunnel entrance on dara side, army is stationed. Come to lakki marwat and ask for location of district hospital near tajazai, you would find out that army is stationed there.

Taliban is fighting a gurella warfare from shadows while pak army is still using conventional tactics of war after a decade. Artillary shelling, tanks, gunship helicopters and jet bombardments....such intense use of power that tribals often ask whether they are percieved as india or soviet union by pak army.

Army occupies govt building only in case of emergency.. The ones that are abandoned .. And than establishes their own camps,bases etc.. An even reconstructs,rehabilitates schools,hospitals etc bombed by your terrorist brethren..

I have been to North Waziristan,Swat during operation.. Even to US bases in Paktia etc... Met ISAF officers,commanders several times .. Met officers,soldiers who served in FATA and took part in ops in damadola,sararogha,swat,buner,mohmand etc...

Surely I know more than some talib sympathiser from Laki Marwat settled in Peshawar.. Which his fairy tales about thousands of women etc killed by the army in red mosque n other ops.. Also know an SSG operator who took part in Operation Silence.. Also know an army office whose wife studied at Jamia hafsa...

The pattern of destruction of tht building told a different tale.. Than we heard personal accounts of the survivors,employees,students who were rescues by the army...

In a programme "on the front", some tribal student from mohammand agency stood up (a PTI supporter) and said that half of my family got killed in drone strike in mohmand agency...that student was lying because drone strikes have never occured in mohmand agency....when these imbeciles lie, they make things difficult for people like me.........

Then they these extremist mullahs offer them a free ticket to paradise and money and power in this world. So these ignorant people jump on the idea of fighting for a higher cause instead of doing jihad e Akbar, which is to struggle everyday against one nafs.

To me, a person who struggles everyday to purify himself is a bigger mujhahid then all these wannabe ignorant gun totting thugs.
