Chandu Babulal Chohan, a 22 year old Indian soldier from 37 Rashtriya Rifles is allegedly in Pakistan custody.
Albeit his arrest and under what circumstances he was captured remains open to question however the Indian officials have so far given several versions of the story from being a deserter to having inadvertently crossed over with latest episode claiming that he had an argument with his seniors and walked off in a huff and must have crossed in a spurt of anger.
For a moment, let's assume and believe any of the above Indian version of story alas a solitary soldier crosses into Pakistan and is instantly captured by the Pakistani security forces. Under normal circumstances he may have wondered around for sometime before getting picked up but since there has been tension on the border for the last few weeks, both sides are even more alert and keep a vigilance against any misadventure from the other side.
So, when a single soldier didn't go unnoticed and is picked up immediately, we are led to believe that several dozen Indian soldiers enter some 3 KMs inside Pakistan at over half a dozen different points and carry out assaults on the so called terrorist launch pads lasting for some four hours and then return back to India unscathed.... doesn't seems incorrect but more delusional to say the least. When the Pakistani security forces were expecting some misadventure by India and Indian forces are also aware of Pakistan's alert status, thus any mission would have been nothing less than suicidal. Your thoughts please.
