China can arrest all Canadians in China. They do not need any reason. Nobody can justice from kangaroo courts from chinaC Better they withdraw from China and issue travel warnings.
Not to worry, I'm not a fan of Indian cuisine.Don't consme too much fried cocroach in gutter oil. It makes you more stupid.

Of course there are reasons. Michael Spavor for example has been organizing travel groups into N.Korea, violating UN sanction. China is merely implementing UN sanction. Lol
Even withdraw from China would not be the end of it, as there are 40 nations China can request extradition of Canadian citizens from as well.
Donald Trump has thrown Canada under the bus by claiming that the arrest of Meng is a "bargaining chip" in the trade war (making a joke of Canada's claim of no political interference), pushing Canada into the firing line, and then refusing to help Canada when the trouble lands.
Incredible, indeed.
Trump could have simply kept his mouth closed for a while. Looks like, the US regime cannot even play a simple game rationally, making mistakes and undermining their own conspiracy.
The whole world knows the Huawei case is politically-motivated. Then, why trust US regime's words regarding Huawei?
The US wanted to conspire with Canada against Huawei, and Canada for some ghastly reason, agreed on this.
Then, in a single statement, Trump has thrown Canada government under the bus. Now who is the bargaining chip? Who's being played on? Who is the weaker actor? Huawei or Canadian government?
If I were a Canadian, I would be very angry at the US regime. They made a joke of Canada's legal system and national sovereignty.
The fact that Trump has the power to decide whether Huawei CFO guilty or not "depending on how trade negotiations go" is a huge slap on the face of Canada's national sovereignty and dignity.
But, hey, that's not unexpected. Probably only a few number of countries can slap the US back, stand their ground, and will never do their bidding.
Canada has proven to be not only a meaningless political entity, but also a pawn.
