Considering Britain will have world's second largest fleet of F-35 it's kinda confusing, what their goal here is.Saudis can also spend less money buying US made planes instead of financing the development of a new one.

They are making 6th gen aircraft and Saudi Arabia can have full production rights by 2030s if a good contract is signed.

Can't rely on others forever..time to make own systems, starting with small uncomplicated and building up to the most sophisticated.. it takes some time, so better start now..

UK is interested in making 6th gen not 5th gen so they can make 5.5gen for KSA and 6th gen for themselves with KSA funding.

Pakistan should participate if there is no usa tech involved as usa is not reliable.
