A New SOW on PAF Mirage ?

In due time bro, this is still a very effective fighter !!

well mirages are like our B52s... they are very capable in performing the tasks that they are required to and have been upgraded to perform it adequately. So no urgency in replacing them.

Correct bro !!

SOW come with boosters as well. But do feel free to blindly speculate some more.
Ok. Typical SOW dont come with boosters(apart from the h4/raptor2) and that was the discussion and knowledgeble person like you is well aware of this...you seem pretty upset, how may i have offended you ..

I wouldnt feel bad..you can argue all you want..i have people like that all the time..i never claim to know more than them or ridicule them and accept when i am wrong ...

May be its different where u live ..being a doctor or engineer doesnt make you right in your own field if you dont have facts to back it up ..thats what we do here..

This is an amatuer forum not an annual airofficers meeting...i hope you knew that...
The average knowledge base here is 10th grade

So if i am wrong that the actual achieved/practical range of a standaradized SOW basically depends upon height and release speed than just correct me and tell me what does it depends upon.

Well I think you can easily pass for 12th grade :enjoy:

Pls dont be offended, but unless you are 100% sure of something, wouldn't it be better to post it as a question, then a definitive claim?

Btw, given how GPS can be played with, we are seeing an increase reliance on INS.

I am pretty sure everyone knows that turboprop or trainer cant attain a max range of SOW which is based upon simple mechanics of release speed and height/service celling
the range of raptor is very much dependent on the release speed and height. Turbo props can do it but the range will be less.
