The biggest problem with the Nawaz Sharif's economic models wasn't even the outright and obvious corruption, it was the fact that he was running Pakistan as if it was already a developed nation, he emphasized imports over exports, trying to invest in foreign nations over domestic industry, and trying to lower taxes and increase subsidize. None of that works when you're a developing nation that only recently upgraded from being a frontier market.That would help development but foreign exchange crisis is simply due to people liking foreign stuff and asking govt to subsidize it for them in form of rupee
Untill collectively the mind set moves towards local production and consumption things will be as volatile as before
