You totally missed the point, and this is extremely pathetic statement.

The poll shows that the society is messed up or Islamophobic to massive degree. Who would sympathize with acts of terrorism in any way or form?

I don't think deep down people actually sympathize with terrorists. But, today we have childish behavior by everyone when they want to 'hit back at you', per say. We see a lot of it in this forum. Iranian and Turks get in argument, Turks say they would support Israeli strikes on Iran. Or Iranians say they support the Kurds in Turkey. Or Palestinian and Turks/Iranians dispute with each other, then said members say they support Israeli bombing of Gaza. Or Pakistanis and Afghan's have dispute, and you know the rest.

Basically black and white 'you're either with us or against us' mentality causing people to go to these extremes. Because of shift towards hyper nationalism. Instead of sticking to Islam and core set of ethical/moral values we stand for, it is all about politics now.

Here is an example, I didn't say I we should ignore these causes, I said we should absorb these polls or sentiments quietly. We shouldn't start spreading news everywhere and ranting against Chinese or others. Because that draws more negative attention towards, we need less attention in the West or other non-Muslim nations. Media coverage on Muslims/Islam is usually negative in these areas, so in the meantime we should strive to stay out spotlight and address these matters privately while on public level go about them professionally.

And btw, this is not about weakness, this is reasonable/logical judgment of our situation.

Guys I'm going to shut this down and here is my reasoning.
Over the course of the last few years we have had extremist Awami posters appear in the Bangladesh section. At first all was well but then we've started seeing them poke and prod Pakistanis on numerous posts and threads with their anti-Pakistan rhetoric. This culminated with three posters in particular calling the Kashmiri cause terrorism and the people terrorists.
Now it can't be ruled out that various attempts at sabotage are in place with a view to target the Pakistan/China partnership. It's quite possible Pro Modi Awami supporters will use the ruse of the 'muslim Ummah' argument to spoil things on this board between Pakistani and Chinese posters.
I've been around on the net, posting on message boards since 1995 and seen it all.
As the old saying goes it's better to be safe than sorry.
