8 AQ operatives killed in fire exchange with CTD in DG Khan

Counter Terrorism Department has foiled an attempt to target Muharram Processions in Multan. Upon intelligence, the CTD raided a hideout in DG Khan where the suspects where expected to be hiding. An exchange of fire took place subsequently between the alleged operatives with 8 operatives getting shot.

I heard in one talk show that Punjab government decided to kill (extra judicially) 5000 ISIS or Al Qaida sympathizers. I think I heard this in Mubahsar Luqman's show.
