75 Philippine U.N. peacekeepers defy Syria rebels after 43 Fijians seized

heh, we could crush IS with a multinational coordinated operation like Libya.
objective kill as many rats as you can
kill the leaders and commanders
but it's up to the average Muslim to stop this twisted ideology

Yep, Libya is doing great these days, just like anywhere else where the multinational coordinated operation crushed enemies.

I just mean a coordinated attack on IS no overthrowing the government
I agree Libya was a clusterf**K
and look at it now!!
rebels just took over U.S embassy again :laughcry:

But what would you do when ISIS warriors return home to Europe. Lot of UK citizens are there in ISIS, but their politicians even could not cancel their citizenship since it would make them stateless; which according to some twisted interpretation of human rights by Europeans, is a sin.

In France, 16% of population ( nearly whole muslim community ) support ISIS. The only reason that there are very few French muzzies among ISIS muzahids is because of language difference.

come on man no shape or form do IS sympathizers have sway on the EU government.
they need to be rounded up and deported to North Africa, but you know we aren't evil like them

.
well if it keeps getting worse of there in France you gotta think the native population will fight back and elect like minded politicians

You just dont get it, a coordinated attack on IS isnt gonna solve the problem, like your coalition didnt attack al qaeda and claimed your so called victories. The fact is that you are creating more dangerous enemy that way, attack their structure or whatever leaders isnt gonna stop them, they will spread out like virus even more.

You should have supported whatever dictators or generals for more stable political structure in the region, for that would be the best way to keep people from turning to extremism and prevent the spread. The people in the region have been suffering for generations now and that made them more connected to their believes (and in some cases even as far as wishing for return to old glory of middle ages). Unless you could provide all the ressources and security structure nessecary to satisfy the entire region in a very short term, more decentralized or "democratic" structure combined with indigenous distrust (and hate) for outsiders will turn the "liberated" regions into breeding ground for terrorism. And terrorism love nothing more than chaos, not only for their enemies but also for themselves, for chaos would breed more terrorism. Killing the evil dictators would be another "stupid crusade" to create problems for everybody. But hell yeah it feels good to do some *** kicking and "mission accomplished" , right?

a coordinated attack would blow IS up and force them back into their rat holes.
coordinate with the Iraq,Kurds, and Syrians on the ground to round them up because they'll be too scared to poke their heads out of wherever they are hiding.

gotta do something. it ain't going to stop it's self.

Like how you forced al qaeda back into their rat holes? Hell even old Osama kicked the bucket, that sure solved your problem right?

is Al-Qaeda IS?
was Al-Qaeda caputring large swathes of land and claiming a so called Islamic Caliphate?
you are hitting a dead horse if you are going to bring up the past with me
i'm talking about the here and now the real threat that faces the entire region.

You dont even see that connection between the past and the present, much less the future. There are good reasons why you are getting something worse than al qaeda now, as you have been killing off convenient "allies"(those who had same interests to keep extremism down) and helping "enemies" (those who are waiting for a opening to stirr up the feeling of suffered mass)

LOL after so much boasting about bravery, honor and holding their ground in the end they ran for it like ladies leaving all the weapons and equipment to ISIS

Where is daddy America? I thought Pinoys were such loyal servants daddy would help them instead of laughing at their cowardice.

Maybe they call it "advancing backwards."

We are there to keep the peace, not to Win a War :rolleyes1:

You are gonna kill more horses, how about start with giving full support for Assad and El-Sisi, supporting their "oppositons" or blaming them is what terrorist would like to see,so stop it. And for gods sake, coorperate with Iran and meditate with Arabs so the two most important regional powers stop working against eachother. And Kurds and Shiite will be less help as the way they are, kurds are surrounded and shiite are doing great job in making sunni in southern iraq suffer(and nope, those millitias are NOT gonna listen to your lecture about "Includness")

The Philippine contingent held their ground during a 7 hour firefight and did not surrender to the enemy forces. Despite facing overwhelming odds and an enemy that had the numerical advantage, the Filipino soldiers were able to deny the enemy from a tactical victory. Their resilience is testament to the Filipino soldier's war experience and battle hardened nature. Salute to the Philippine Army.
