Perhaps more people will move to alternatives like the Turkish app Bip. Pakistan should look into a deal with these smaller social media companies to build Server facilities in Pakistan, so data can be hosted in country, and privacy can be more assured.

Could be the impetus for actually getting the “Digital Silk Road” off the ground in Pakistan.
