Do you think that US is running out of soldiers? You people have no idea about Afghan Taliban. For Afghan Taliban worst period is over and every passing day is proving to better for Afghan Taliban. Mr they didn't talked when close to 100000 USA soldiers were in Afghanistan and 50000 NATO they are not going to talk under any pressure now. So better USA leaves or would keep loosing soldiers and would keep facing more attacks and would fail to stop Taliban.
Pakistan Army have lost over 700 soldiers during Operation Zarb-e-Azab. There were some reversals as well but Pakistan Army eventually gained ground and made good progress, routing militants from many areas and killing many as well.
So Pakistan should stop fighting Taliban factions due to loss of soldiers?
Future of Afghanistan is at stake here. No country is willing to tolerate Mullah-led Afghanistan anymore. Not even China.
US have never taken Taliban seriously; President Bush diverted resources towards Iraq and President Obama reduced the number of troops in Afghanistan. And President Obama expects Pakistan to do more on the Afghan front [ironic].
When US will be serious about eradicating ISIS, you will notice ISIS positions being carpet-bombed and ISIS will fall apart.ISIS can be only stopped by Afghan Taliban. Neither and USA can't stop them.
At present, ISIS is a necessary evil. It is challenging the supremacy of President Bashar in Syria and giving hell to Shia clerics in Iraq. Therefore, ISIS is (unwittingly) serving the interests of US-Saudi-Israeli nexus in the Middle East.
