Despite manifestos of many political parties pledging to put an end to corruption in India, a large number of people still believe that the country would never become corruption free.
As per a poll conducted by Zee News, 59 percent people felt that corruption will never end in the country even if new government is formed at the Centre.

However, 41 percent people have optimistic approach in this regard.

The 'Zee News AB Meri Baari Poll' was conducted via SMS and through online voting.

Modi (not the BJP) sounds promising to me. That he will do a far better job than Manmohan Singh is pretty much a given. To what extent he will be able to strengthen democratic institutions and protect the intelligence agencies and the bureaucracy from the clutches of the political class needs to be seen. In the event that he becomes the PM and fails at his job Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party will be our last hope.

The free media (traditional/social) has already become a pain in the *** for the corrupt and I see things only getting better here onward.

the Majority of corruption happens on the ground , the babus the ips and other govt officials, its ridiculous to thing they will go straight just because a new govt has taken charge.

Given a choice b/n a corrupt leader who looks after my basic needs like roti, kapada, makan and the honest Kejriwal, Antony types who does nothing, I will vote for the former.
