50 Tibetan protesting against china detained in New Delhi

Police detain Tibetan exiles during a protest in New Delhi.

Tibetan youth residing in New Delhi come out into the streets to protest the visit of a Chinese delegation to India which is to lay the ground for the forthcoming visit of Premier Wen Jiabao in December.

Around 50 Tibetan exiles on Monday protested outside the Nehru Momorial Library where the Chinese Politburo Standing Committee member Zhou Yongkang addressed a seminar on "China and India: 60 Years and Beyond" in New Delhi.

Police officials say they have arrested some protesters who were waving Tibetan flags and shouting anti-China and anti-Wen Jiabao slogans.

Tibetans have been demanding independence from China.

An estimated 80,000 Tibetans arrived in India along with the Dalai Lama after an abortive uprising against Chinese rule in 1959.

Zhou Yongkang is here on an invitation by the GOI. He is a guest. What is the point of inviting someone and then presenting him with an unpleasant spectacle. Security of State guests have to be looked after. But that does not mean that the protesters should be handled roughly or in a cruel or brutal manner.

Those tibetans living in India are worst than the Tibetans of China. They are even more lazy, unskilled than their Chinese counterparts and they are living on the back of our Indians friends. Hopefully for them the West and the CIA are sponsoring them to travel around the globe and sometimes to infiltrate China to instill social trouble, unrest and rioting. It is the Tibetans living in India who are poisoning the Indo-China relationship. Expect in a few years to see them indulging in terror attacks filmed by CNN.
China has made Tibet a prosperous region while under the ruling of the Dalai Lama Tibet was a poor feudal dictatorship state. During the deadly riot of 2008, the Tibetans had launched the first attack on the Chinese Han by mass murdering and rioting-a reminescent of the Japanese atrocities and mass killing of innocent Chinese civilians of World War II. However for the Western media and under their classical chinese bashing, the Tibetans were portrayed as the victims while Chinese are the culprits just like for the Japanese arrest of a Chinese fishing boat.
