What the surroundings of the Caojiiawan subway station look like today
Westerners can never understand how China develops its infra thus they can never develop theirs like China does. They can keep smearing China of building ghost towns and ghost cities, will only end up finding themselves being stuck in the past with 19th rundown everything.

"The Largest Ghost City In The World" claimed by the western media, ORDOS, Inner Mongolia, N. China

The west can keep mocking China building ghost this and ghost that, we love to see them in their deep delusion forever.

Today's same Caojiawan subway entrance compares to it was 5 years ago

We know western media will never stop bashing us, it's becoming kind of more amusing see their lies now.

Western media never knows what city planning is, they can not see anywhere farther than the tip of their nose.

When Shenzhen was first developed, many building stayed idle for years, by western media's logic, Shenzhen was probably the world biggest ghost city, not Ordos in Inner Mongolia.

Western media nevres know what forward planning is, so they could not have cities like Shenzhen, Xiong'an..

China does have some abandoned buildings but not as bad as hyped. The economy corrects itselfs. People don't understand even abandoned towns can be retirement homes for soldiers and government servants if the government just clicked their fingers.
