Having sharp of a sense must have it's own drawbacks and side effects. For example we sometimes get baffled by echos and reflections of sounds and lights that we hear and see, and they are not that sharp for us. It is quite possible that dogs get trapped in their own very sharp senses.

As for Jinns, Jinns and Angeles are everywhere. They aren't allowed to interfere in human life except in certain conditions. If animals were able to see them their behaviour might have been totally different than what we see in daily life.
