Well there's thousands of nice suburbs..just like there are thousands of miles of HSR track.

Things do happen...no use getting completely freaked out over one HSR crash. It's not like every mile suddenly is completely dangerous.

I've noticed for the entire thread you never use the term "gun violence" or “mass shooting”, I guess maybe “HSR crash” is your new code name for them?

I think this is the American mindset on full display here.. which is never face the bitter truth or tackle the real problems head on, but instead trying to rationalize it with whataboutism and finger-pointing. or sometimes in your case, tumbling on the floor like a 3 year old.

Columbine was a US suburb and that was 20+ years ago.

But in terms of shootings you are far likely to be a victim in an inner city neighborhood that a quiet suburb. There are simply more desperate people in some of the rougher areas of cities. You see videos for "Streets of Philadelphia" not streets of "Highland Park".
