Travelling is apparently one of life’s most enriching experiences. For some, the places they visit and the people they met define them. Whether you travel for a more profound meaning to life or just getting away from harsh realities of life, the ultimate question everyone confronted with is “where to go?” and for us Gilgit Baltistan is the ultimate destination. Undoubtedly Pakistan has got some of the most beautiful places in the world from the Lakes and Valleys of Azad Kashmir to the Heights and Peaks of Northern Areas.
Gilgit Baltistan is home to some of the highest mountains in the world, to be specific: Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush. These mountains have the world’s highest peaks and the world’s largest concentration of glaciers outside the Polar Regions.
Nature has given Gilgit Baltistan with impeccable beauty, snowy mountains, high peaks and lush green fairy meadows. At the same time, this region is also honored with deposits of precious stones and metals like Ruby, Gold, Aquamarine, Zircon and much more.
