Gilgit Baltistan is home to some of the highest mountains in the world, to be specific: Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush. These mountains have the world’s highest peaks and the world’s largest concentration of glaciers outside the Polar Regions.
Nature has given Gilgit Baltistan with impeccable beauty, snowy mountains, high peaks and lush green fairy meadows. At the same time, this region is also honored with deposits of precious stones and metals like Ruby, Gold, Aquamarine, Zircon and much more.
