ISLAMABAD, June 10 (Bernama) -- At least four people were killed and twelve others injured when a suicide bomber rammed his vehicle into an army check post in northwest Pakistan on Monday, Xinhua news agency reported.
Paramilitary troops came under attack by an explosive-laden vehicle when they were setting up a checkpoint in North Waziristan at the Pakistan-Afghan border.
Those killed consisted of three soldiers and a child and injured victims including two women were taken to hospital.
Security forces cordoned off the area and all main roads near the check post were closed to traffic.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
