Etisalat has 3G service in Pakistan... They didn't put 3G service in Pakistan because Pakistan is making Etisalat pay $800 million for a contract.. Bunch of losers

Total of 17.5 million GSM subscribers, 66% penetration, 85% population coverage and service charges differ from company to company!

I pay 900 AFN for 3 GB bandwidth.

Pakistan has good teledensity around 120 million users. How much license fees the government generated their by allocating spectrum and licenses. In India it was huge amount when we auctioned the 3g services.

last i heard when the govt was planning to auction the license it was estimated that subscribtion would be more than 2 billion dollars....

Etisalat, MTN also provides but I don't have their SIM; prices are high currently but will come down once other companies get the license.

3G is very cheap in India

For some providers its 8 Indian rupees per day unlimited use, others provide 2 paisa per 10KB (one Indian rupees for one MB of usage)

Very cheap rates as compared to international pricing.
