But I see that Pakistan is still craving for more, whereas India has proposed LOC to be the definite International boundary for 2 nations..

And Pakistanis are telling the world that they started all 4 wars to snatch Kashmir from India:

Start the last one to see what happens.

@Bang Galore i think its a difficult decision is it not regarding what to do with Pakistan. While I'm not a fan of escalating matters, i do not necessarily agree with the assertion that pakistan stops india's rise or that inability to ''control'' our neighborhood affects our standing. China has troubles in the neighborhood, and so does the US.

But as I said, I'm in favor of deescalation, as I see no benefit in escalation. The pakistanis will thank us profusely if we give them a reason to stop the internal bloodshed and provide an external kafir enemy. Also, the real battle is not being fought on the battlefield, but on roads, schools and hospitals. That war we need to win.

The current retaliation on LOC affects Kashmir insurgency and finally has a positive impact on Kashmir.

Hitting Pakistani border posts temporarily stops some insurgents from infiltrating into Kashmir, which results in many issues-
1. Deaths of innocent civilians
2. Civilians harassed by local police
3. Civilians killed in cross fire.
4.any scope of economic improvement.
5. Possible death of Moderate Kashmiri leader.

All the above benefit Pakistan in the long run.

Hence we are nipping root of trouble at the bud

The question is not about talks with Pakistan, but our ability to protect ourselves from the worst and in the long term limit Pakistani capability to harm us

1) before India seeks Flag meeting , now PAK started to seek flag meeting.
2) Before World list to PAK, NOW No one care what PAK say about kashmir including UN.
3) PAK Stop serious firing on border
