28 Indian warbirds to buzz Republic Day parade

28 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and army will overfly the Republic Day parade next Wednesday in New Delhi including 13 fighters and five transport aircraft. Ten helicopters, including three Indian Army Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) will also be part of the flypast.

The fighter element will consist of five Jaguars from NAL, five MiG-29s from Ambala and three Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft from Jodhpur. The transporters will include one IL-78, two An-32s and two Dorniers, operating from Jodhpur. Besides the army’s Dhruvs, the helicopter flight will include four Mi-17 IV, operating from the Polo Ground in Delhi and three Mi-25s operating from Hindan Air Base in Ghaziabad near Delhi.

The IAF, in its static tableaux display, will focus on network centric operations. “Scale models of a climbing Sukhoi-30 MKI, an aerostat, a satellite orbiting the earth and an AWACS mounted on the trailer with giant images of the situation board of AFNET (Air Force Network) and of the AD (Air Defense) element depicting Pechora (SAM-III) missile firing will be attraction of the IAF tableaux,” said the IAF on Friday.

The IAF marchpast will consist of 144 airmen and a 72-strong IAF Band and will be led by Flight Lieutenants CP Deshpande, Jasdeep Kaur, Mukesh Rai and Flying Officer Anupama Chaudhary.

The 150-member Inter Services Guard of Honor commanded by Wing Commander Ajay Dasari will include 50 airmen led by Squadron Leader B Biswas.

.
No LCA even after IOC??? Does neta log fear about their safety if LCA carshes on the janpath thats why its not flying on Republic day.

. . .
Which article to believe one mentions it or the one which doesnt mention it.If its flying then i would say neta log are really brave that they are taking risk with their lives.

That means india is really in good hands:cool:

Believe both

The first article says 13 fighters of IAF will fly

The second article says Tejas will also fly.

Everyone in the forum knows LCA is yet to be inducted into IAF.

Use the time in non defense related matters , this is a different game (defense) , but the occasional LCA verbal diarrhea is also welcome.

Pathetic display of lack of self respect and bashophobia at best .. bringing on off topic, flame baits, trolling, which are cited as examples for actions against members are totally ignored on this one... Double standards , i should say.

Man you predict the things very well.
Do you have 6th sense?:eek::eek:

It doesnt need 6th sense to sense the senseless ones...
