23rd March holds significant place in Pakistans history

March 23 commemorates the passage of what was originally the Lahore Resolution (Qarardad i Lahore) and later became better known as the Pakistan Resolution (Qarardad i Pakistan). If there is a single most important founding document of Pakistan, it has to be this Resolution passed at the annual session of the All-India Muslim League at its 1940 meeting (22-24 March) at Minto Park (now called Iqbal Park), Lahore (by the way, what a wonderful idea - for political parties to have open, meaningful, annual sessions where real decisions are taken in a transparent and democratic manner!).
In 1941, this Lahore Resolution became part of the Muslim League constitution and in 1946 it became the basis of the demand for Pakistan.
After what has happened since the inception of Pakistan, all Pakistani Politicians should hang their heads in shame instead of celebrating Pakistan or independence day. The constitution of Pakistan is still secular, even though the country was created in the name of Islam. Its population never tasted the justice and peace under the Islamic Kalima even though the Kalima was chanted proudly before the creation of Pakistan. So one should ask, why Pakistanis are living in denial by celebrating meaningless events of the past that has no significance in the scales of Shariah of Allah?
People of Pakistan have endured a lot of hardships and they continue to face them with the hope that change is just around the corner. This is the reason why they are clinging to any glimpses of hope that is presented before them. Fortunately, the masses are slowly realising that elections will not change their plight. They are realising that elections under democracy always protect 1% and they are not the 1%. If it was as easy as having elections to change the situation of a country like Pakistan then it would be banned long time ago. New faces will never be able to provide justice through the current system which is secular and exists only to serve the agenda of the US.
The historical Arab spring has given the rest of the Muslim lands a taste of real political struggle i.e. street-struggle. Indeed the thrones of the Western agents cannot be shaken by putting a vote in the ballot box, instead high price has to be paid to instigate real Islamic change. Sacrifices of people of Syria and other regions should be enough for us to appreciate this point. If thats not enough then we should look at the example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to appreciate this point. How he(PBUH) struggled against kufr society and never compromised on his(PBUH) method to materialise the Islamic change.
Lastly, we should not wait any further and point the finger upon our ownselves because we will be asked by Allah on the Day of Judgment; what we did or didnt do in the situation we find ourselves in?
If we choose to sit on the sidelines then we only have ourselves to blame on the Day of Judgment. The opportunity is there for the taking, we should grab it with both hands and join the struggle to establish Islam as a system. This is the time to make your efforts count. It will be too little too late to join this struggle when Islamic system is already implemented. Similar comparison can be made during the time of Holy Prophet(PBUH). There were some in Makkah who accepted Islam and joined the struggle to establish Islam. However majority in Makkah who entered Islam after Fateh-Makkah (conquest of Makkah). The status of early Muslims cannot be compared to those who decided to accept Islam after Fateh-Makkah.
