Kabul (BNA) Police of Kandahar province seized 15,000 Kg of explosive materials in Kandahar province last week.
According to BNA, this issue was said in a press conference by Colonel Rahmatullah Atrafi police chief of that province yesterday.
In this press conference he said that the explosive materials were seized in several operations was conducted by police in different areas of that province.
According to him, in these operations, two Taliban insurgents were killed, three wounded and eight others were detained.
300 mines and an arm were seized by police forces.
