The fly past will be held at night due to many reasons;
1) Pakistan was created on the night between 13 and 14 august
2) Due to Imran Khan`s march,etc

Controlled flypast during night time is not a big deal, Indians can see it many times in air force practice ranges and have never considered in Very Risky endeavor Probably it must be risky in your part of world :p

If its a VERY Risky affair then common sense says that a moron leading a group baffoon will only try such an endeavor in name of practicing for war readiness, while its perform on the heads of important civilian leaders and citizens.

Dont you have money and open space to practice night warfare. Why try to do it as a practice over the life of citizens.
For us these kinds of maneuvers are controlled public display of capabilities and not a mission rehearsals.

What do you think this. Get off your Indian high horse and try to figure out why this was arranged in such a manner.

The Sort who find it a good exercise to practice coordinated Night flying in the process. There was a nice write as to how these flypasts are also essentially excellent mission rehearsals. These aircraft fly in from their respective home bases and plan their flights accordingly to arrive precisely at the same time over an area.. just as they would in an actual strike mission.

It is a VERY risky endeavour though with aircraft operating in such closed airspace, but essentially it is also very real in terms of what a night strike package would have to do.

Every one wants to see them but the current security situation of pakistan does not allow that

@Viny, There's PAF and then there is your IAF..... for PAF has always conducted flypasts and performed air displays right above the capital, however the IAF never indulges into anything more than a single high speed pass by only TWIN engine jets, after what you would call a Moron decided to heat up some VIPs and the crowd.....and that too in broad daylight. !!

yes i have that video of dunya news in which they mentioned about thunders as well. but there were no thunders during rehearsal
