As if Asad Umar didn't knew all this, he shouldn't have come up with Maula Jatt style.
i understand the situation, but the start should be made with BIG thieves, at least throw couple of them in jail and recover money --- Right now, they have made start with the same old style (just yesterday i had to deal with same old corrupt fbr scums, the instructions they have is to generate revenue by hook or by crook) -

Asad Umar wasnt the finanace minister, Dar was who is now an absconder. The only way the real situation comes to the picture is when you have the keys to the safe and you open it only to find out there isnt a dime in it.

And who will pay for that subsidies? Govt should reduce subsidies first.
If you want country to stand on its feet first step is too make all govt. run companies profitable if not sell it & reduce govt. employees (one window operation).

i don't have actual number but crude Oil price was at its lowest at that time which would have effected LNG/LPG etc.

One thing people forget that during Nawaz Govt. Oil was at its lowest price internationally.
which mean less import bills & cheap fuel cost for Power House.
