Security Forces (SFs) on September 24 killed 14 militants and neutralised two of their hideouts during operations in Orakzai and Khyber Agencies in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), reports Daily Times. According to sources, SFs bombed the suspected hideouts of militants in Dabori, Alikhel, Mamozai and Mullakhel areas of Orakzai agency with jet planes. During the operation at least 10 militants were killed while two hideouts were also neutralised.
Further, in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency, SFs pounded suspected hideouts of terrorists with heavy artillery fire, killing at least four militants. The areas targeted by the SFs were considered to be strongholds of terrorists.
