14 FC Troops Killed in Terrorist Attack

No obviously no. :)
Of course not - it isn't terrorism until an American, or a national from the country strongly allied with the US (even that tends to take secondary priority), is killed.

The absolute gall and shamelessness of the US in expressing 'concern' over 'missing individuals' in Balochistan - never mind the fact that the US itself has been involved in extraordinary renditions and detentions without trial of hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals since the 9/11 attacks.

^^^ I fully understand and support your validated response friend but let us not dilute the matter at hand.Hypocrisy or not, this is a dilemma of an imminent nature facing Pakistan today.

The United States or not;The sanctioned murders must come to an end.

it must indeed

just to be clear .. reference to the topic of the thread.. I assume you are talking about killing of the secuirty forces at the hands of the terrorists? that is sanctioned by somebody who is enjoying the hospitality of Sweden?

Brother, i share your feelings.

To be honest, they will pay for their wrong doings. And then no one would give a damn about it.

check youtube or listen to his 100s of speechs in which he accepts he lifted arms against pakistani military

also u can go and ask 1000s of people of bugti tribe that were driven away from their homes forcefully

secondly he wasnt murdered he was surrounded and asked to lay down weapons where he blew himself up. Forensic evidence and witness along with the dead pakistani soldiers prove this fact

ISI in some aspects have exceeded the law there is no doubt about that but most of the time it was related to afghanistan situation or bomb blast not related to baloch issue. and the world gross doesnt fit here. the world gross fits when 100s of innocent people are killed by US military or bomb blast or mine attacks in balochistan

in nutshel bugit saw that he was a king till 73 and now his days of kingship was coming to end so he declared war, thats how i see it. they were very upset because of gawadar and devlopment
you are avoiding my question
i challenge post one incident in which bugti men or himself he accepted responsibility of terrorist attack or he and his people conducted a terrorist attack!!!!!!!!!!its a challenge
you lied on isi balochistan meddling, no of missing persons in balochistan exceeds no of missing persons in war on terror, how can you say that isi is not involve however you admit isi exceeds law?????an agency which exceeds law can only do that in war on terror not in balochistan????????what guarantee you can give............
in a nutshell isi and army is cultivating a crop of hatred in balochistan and when it comes to breeding they start chanting (in order to hide their criminality) "america is behind this" mantra

In addition to the increasing accounts of disappearances being attributed to security personnel.Perhaps the United States can join the table(of course not as an arbiter)since there are many accusations towards their direction as well.An impasse is the norm whereas a breakthrough is what all the three parties should be looking for.

Too naive? I look forward for your input.

How can the US join the table when, AFAIK, it has not even condemned (forget about listing the BLA/BRA/BLF as terrorist organizations) the massacres of civilians and ethnic cleansing by the BLA/BLF/BRA?

How can the US join the table talking about 'dialog, human rights and an end to extra-judicial killings' when the US itself is proudly proclaiming its extra-judicial massacres through night raids and drone strikes as a 'cornerstone of its COIN policy'?

P.S: What happened to our members calling Bugti a saint and the Security operations against terrorist/militants in Balochistan 'unprovoked'?

10 Baloch separatists gunned down in Chamalang operation

Quetta - Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan killed 10 Baloch separatists in a day-long operation in the Chamalang area on Monday. According to a report from Chamalang, close to Loralai district and restive Kohlu Marri district, the Balochistan FC launched a fresh operation against Baloch separatists after an increase in separatist attacks, particularly a raid which killed 15 FC personnel, including a major.
Reports said 10 separatists were killed and dozens injured during clashes with FC troops. Reports confirmed deaths and casualties among FC Balochistan troops but security forces refused to confirm. An independent report claimed FC personnel were establishing a checkpost in the Bhalwal area of Musakhail district, close to the restive Kohlu Marri district when Baloch separatists attacked them. Reports on Monday suggested that multiple people had been arrested during the operation and shifted to undisclosed locations for interrogation. However, FC officials refused to comment on either aspect of the operation.

They deserve it. I disagree with Imran Khan, you can't talk with these people. The population of Balochistan is not even half of Lahore's population. Kill all the traitors.

No, just the murdering, terrorist thugs like Akbar Bugti, Brahmadeh Bugti and anyone else associated with a violent militant group.

If political activists and journalists are providing shelter and support to these terrorists, then they deserve the same fate as well.

Do you have a problem with that, and if so, why?

I agree we know what areas to go after. Not all of Balochistan is violent. Northern half of Balochistan is not even Baloch majority and Baloch come in many different tribes. There is only 1 tribe that is a headache for Pakistan and Pakistan army can easily eliminate the terrorists from that tribe.

FC vows to catch culprits behind Turbat massacre

QUETTA: Inspector General of Frontier Corps (FC) Maj-Gen Obaidullah Khan Khattak expressed grief on Thursday over the deaths of 14 paramilitary troops in Turbat District, adding that the FC was determined to retain peace in Balochistan.
In a statement issues here, Khattak said the sacrifices rendered by FC personnel would not go in vain and FC would not abandon its duties of retaining durable peace in this region.

“The elements involved in this deadly attack will be chased till they are brought to justice,” he said.

According to the statement, militants placed landmines near the Kalag area of Buleida, sub-division in Kech District. FC personnel were engaged in a de-mining operation to protect the lives and property of residents when militants ambushed the FC personnel.
Fourteen FC personnel, including two Junior Commissioned Officers, were killed and two FC vehicles were also destroyed in the attack. Law enforcement agencies and police have sealed off the area and launched a manhunt for the arrest of assailants involved in the atrocity, the statement added.

Another official said the attack was so sudden that the soldiers did not have time to defend themselves. He said the attackers were believed to be at least two dozen in number. The attack was claimed by a spokesman for the Balochistan Liberation Front in calls to television stations and newspapers.

Baloch insurgents have been fighting a protracted insurgency in the province to demand more autonomy and control over the natural resources of their impoverished region.

The insurgency became more deadly following the killing of Baloch chieftain Nawab Akbar Bugti, who was also the chief of Jamhoori Watan Party, in a military operation in the Taratani caves of Kohlu district in 2006.

The Pakistan Peoples Party-led coalition government has announced a package, Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan, to address the sense of deprivation among the people in the largest province of the country.

However, this delayed move has done little to pacify the Baloch insurgent groups who, it appears, do not want a political solution to the problem.

They blame the military for continuing detentions and subsequent killing of political activists.

In a similar ambush on November 21, militants killed 14 soldiers in the Musakhel District of Balochistan. In December a car bomb blast in Quetta killed 15. (Additional input from wires)

Balochistan insurgency: Insurgents clash with paramilitary troops, 10 dead

QUETTA:
At least 10 Baloch insurgents were killed and several injured in a deadly clash with paramilitary Frontier Corps troops in the Behlol area near Chamalang coalfield on Monday.

Sources said that paramilitary troops were setting up a checkpoint near Behlol when insurgents opened fire on them. The troops retaliated and in the ensuing gunfight 10 militants were killed and several injured.

Behlol is the area where 15 FC troops, including a Major, were killed in an ambush by insurgents about a month ago.

According to a report from Chamalang, paramilitary troops launched a fresh operation in the area against insurgents from the Baloch Marri tribe. Reports say that scores of suspected insurgents were also detained during the operation and were shifted to an undisclosed location for questioning.

According to a press statement issued by an FC spokesperson early on Monday, paramilitary troops have purged the Behlol area of insurgents and the coalmine project will start soon.

The Chamalang coalfield is considered a prestigious project of the Pakistan Army and it has been working under strict security.

FC troops form the outer security cordon of the coalfield ensuring security of the workforce, including engineers and officials.

Sadiq was shot and injured by unknown assailants in Hub, an industrial town in Lasbela district.

QUETTA:
Lawyers boycotted court proceedings across Balochistan on Wednesday to protest the killing of Lawyer Malik Sadiq.

Sadiq was shot and injured by unknown assailants in Hub, an industrial town in Lasbela district. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital where he was admitted.

The strike call was given by the Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) and the Balochistan High Court. Hearings were adjourned till the next date. President of BBA Dawood Kasi, senior lawyer Baz Mohammad Kakar and others condemned the killing in a press statement.

They demanded that the government and law enforcing agencies ensure the culprits are arrested. “It was not the first incident where a lawyer has fallen victim to a target killing. The government must restore the writ of law in Balochistan where people are killed and kidnapped with complete impunity,” the lawyers said.
