130 Indian troopers commit suicide since January 2007 | Kashmir Media Service
Srinagar, March 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian trooper of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) committed suicide in Doda district, today.
The trooper identified as Atul Kumar Tiwari of 8-RR committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside a camp at Arnoora in the district, bringing such deaths amongst the troops to 130 since January 2007.
On the other hand, the undeclared curfew was strictly enforced by the puppet authorities in Nowhatta, Rainawari, Gojwara, Rajouri Kadal, Saraf Kadal, Safa Kadal, Khanyar, Nowpora, Naid Kadal, Bhori Kadal, Kawdara, Nawab Bazar and adjoining localities of Srinagar. The situation ensued after the killing of a youth by Indian troops firing at Nowhatta on Friday.
Meanwhile, dead body of a 60 years old woman was recovered from Nallah Madumati in Bandipore.
